I think there are many of that could make the poles,,, but not sure how many of us could make the brackets ??? I believe the Straps are the most important part,,, they keep the awning from lifting in the wind,,, the poles keep the awning from being forced down by what they call a micro-burst !!! Which may or may not ever
happen ???
I do not like the idea of having to put every thing away just because of a little rain !!!
If you do not have Straps & Dog stakes,,, you may want to Google I think it is called The Hooker,,, it comes with ropes Hooks & brackets,,, looks like it would work ???
