We were looking at the Roo and I did get a quote from RVW for it. They were far better price than the Roo dealer that is local to us. But the shamrock dealer i then found was a bit more local (1 1/2 hour away) and was an even better deal. We also liked the lighter colors in the Shamrock better than the Roo's darker colors, so we got the Shamrock

Actually I got it in Pennsylvania (much cheaper than the Roo that was in Maryland). The dealer was Keystone RV center in greencastle PA. So far I am pleased with them, there were some hiccups with the pdi, but everything was taken care of before we left with the camper. We have had the camper now a for about a month but have not been camping yet. We hitched it up to get weights yesterday and I noticed that the hitch that they installed is an Equalizer E2 instead of the E4 I was supposed to get. They have been responding well and they will be switching out the hitch next week.

I also have a very similar tow vehicle as your grand Cherokee, the Hemi durango and I got the 23ws. Like I just mentioned, I just took it to the CAT scales. The brochure tongue weight for the camper is 500 lbs, so I estimated we would be between 650 to 700 lbs fully loaded, the loaded weight scaled at 640 lbs. That is with an empty fresh water tank, so if we need to travel with a full water tank, the tongue weight would be a heavier.
We also seem to be light packers, we put less than 500lbs of stuff in the camper, but most of the storage in this model is behind and over the axles.

We are getting very excited to get this out to the woods in two weeks!!!

Good luck searching for your perfect camper.....and ask lots of questions, the best decision is an informed one.

Ah the pleather look. We did not care for the darker colors and the leather couch in the Roos we looked at. Have you found any Shamrocks, ours had the lighter colors and a cloth couch. Hopefully you will find the one soon.
