New Member Salutations and Mount-n-Lock Questions

Hello all! My name is Michael and I am a new member on this site as well as a new Rockwood owner. We purchased the Roo 23IKSS and are scheduled to pick it up on Saturday. This forum has me itching to start tinkering and camping! It is nice to have such a resource for questions and fellowship right at your finger tips.

I have been reading up on the Mount-n-Lock brackets for the rear bumper and was wondering if the standard ones would work on the 23IKSS? I am sure that someone here is in the know on this so I would appreciate the info to get a head start on this thing.

Hi Michael,

Welcome. I have a 23IKSS also. I just installed the Safety Struts. I wanted extra protection so I installed 2 per frame and sandwiched them.

Here is my story and pictures. 2SSN was the model for the Safety Strut.

Thanks for the reply Ron. So I assume the standard ones will work or did you have to use the universal ones? They show two options through amazon.

I purchased direct from the company. They recommended SSN for my setup. It was cheaper through them than Amazon Prime with tax. But then again, I bought 2 sets. Total $130.90 and free shipping.
