New owner of a ROO 233s

We pick up our 2013 Roo 233s a week from tomorrow and we can't wait!!! We owned a large Pup for eight years that was just totaled in a hail storm. We were wanting to upgrade anyway and were thinking we would get a small travel trailer. We have three kids, two of which are teenage boys so, we NEED room. I didn't want anything too big to haul and store. A few years ago we a had a Dutchmen 31 foot bunkhouse that was ennormous and we sold it after only two years and just went back to using our Pup. Our dealer asked us if we had considered a Roo. I wasn't too sure about them but I had never really looked at them either. I think we will be very happy with it. Are there any tips or tricks ya'll could share that you've learned from experience. We're taking it out for the first time at the end of June!

We got ours two weeks ago and took it out for the Memorial Day weekend. We love it. Set up and take down were amazingly easy. There are four of us, two teens and two adults and we loved the space. Hitching took a bit until we figured out the idiosyncrasies. We are still working out how to store some things, but that will likely take a few more trips. Joyce

to the Forest River Forum and congrats on your new ROO 233s! The ROO seems to be a very popular unit among buyers here.

Have fun camping!

one more thing dont forget the switch inside the hotwater heater panel so that you dont fry the water heater , and make sure the by pass is open .

We picked ours up the Wednesday before Memorial day and love it!! We upgraded from a PUP because it was getting to small for DW, four kids and myself and even now it is hard to believe the room. We looked at normal TT and, although they were nice, nothing felt right until we walked into the Roo. We immediately knew it was the camper for us. I am sure you will enjoy yours also.

Just ordered a Roo 233S and can't wait to get it and get back to RVing. We have owned several over the years but have been without for the past few. We have three boys 8, 6 and 3 plus two dogs so we think the three bunks and slide are just what we need. Now to start with the mods threads... :-)
