Nice job on mods but how was it to run the Volt meter above the panel? I am going to add a 30AMP Progressive Protector, but I like the Digital Volt Meter Gauge.

I switched to an Anderson WDH just because of the bars, parts and hitch as well but neat idea.

I just tapped into the panel 12v feed to get the 12v reading. Probably should be closer to the battery, but it's good enough. Works great when I flip the switch it's on.
