PUGs are popup gizmos:

first made for the tent ends of popups. they are custom-fitted and help keep the ends cool or warm, depending on which side of the covers you use. they also keep the canvas clean and provide darkness for afternoon naps or late sleepers.
they are made for hybrids, also.

Thanks for the responses guys and gals. I took the furnace out....beat on it a little while...put it back in and it's now working fine. I'm assuming it was a sticky sail switch.
