Congrats. We got our 233S in the Spring. We love it. It's in getting the "punch sheet" work done and being winterized. We plan on making a new years eve trip this year. That's something we weren't able to pull off when we had the pop up.

So, where do you get that eco foil? Is it finished product or a material that you use to make bunk end covers?

It comes in a roll very easy to cut . We really like the white & sliver style we put the white facing out and you cant tell that it is in there where the sliver side really stands out.here is a link

Wow! You pulled that with a Saab? I guess I won't worry about pulling my Roo19 with my Frontier!

The saab 97x has a tow rating of
6500 lbs with the 5.3 v8
5600 lbs with the 4.2 straight 6
The differance between the 2 is 10 hp and 30 fp of toqure

Congrats on the new Roo!!

I had never heard of a Saab with a V8 before. Interesting. Have you had it to a CAT scale yet? I'd be interested to know what your numbers are. I only ask because I had a '08 Toyota Tacoma TRD rated for 6500 lbs but with my 23SS it was too close to GVWR for my liking with just 2 people in the cab, so I decided to upgrade my TV since we are a family of 5.

That is a nice TV. Higher tow rating than I would have guessed for a SUV. Didn't realize it had a V8. My Frontier is a V6 4.0 with a tow rating of 6300. Not sure of the torque. What is the dry weight of your 233s? My Roo19 is ~3600. It tows OK but I can tell it is working hard. Gas mileage goes way down but the power is fair in 4th gear.

Not to hijack the thread, but any chance you have some pics of the ecofoil installed? Are you putting this over top of the bed end "canvas" or inside the windows?

Congrats on your new Roo! Glad to see it arrived at A&S on time. Hope you get to spend some "Camp Driveway" time here in Michigan before it gets too cold. Enjoy!

Double Bubble Insulation, Bubble Wrap Insulation, Foil Bubble Insulation
how different is this ecofoil, from the well used/recommended Reflectix?

Looked to be very similar. Ecofoil has white / sliver also. for a 48"x75' roll was $89.99 i did all 9 windows and 3 -78" peices for bunks or under pugs and still have some left

You bring up a good point dado39. Wondering if anyone has placed pieces of the Reflectix under the pugs for additional insulation? Haven't tried it, but I don't know why you couldn't. Has anyone tried this, especially during the colder weather?
