New Shamrock 23ss Owner

New owner of a 2010 Shamrock 23ss and have not been able to get a stright answer to the max weight allowance for the fold out beds. The sales guy said 750 - 1,000 pounds but that seems a bit high.

Actually, its more like 1,200lbs with the cable-supported bunks on a hybrid.

Welcome by the way.

I always wondered how the max weight can be expressed in a "range". Would the max really be 1200 lbs then?

Shamrock; While the mfg may say 1000-1200 lbs be advised that the doors are under enginered. We had a ROO 23ss same trailer, only name difference. The DW and myself add up to approx 375lbs. After 5 years of using the front bunk to sleep on the door had a noticable bow in it that allowed water to leak in at the top whenever the door was closed, this was even after the new Forest River seals were installed. The door is 1" Aluminum framing with styrfoam filler, 3/8" Luan plywood and the fiberglass exterier is all.
