I use my tank flush all the time and it works great! I actually flush the tank when I get to the campground and all hooked up (bathroom gets used while traveling) and I also flush before I leave it keeps the black tank odors down to basically nothing.

Black tank flush. I have mixed feelings about mine. It is hard to find a water hose at a dump station that is long enough to reach to the opposite side of the trailer. But when we find one, we use it.

If you have the external hose / outside shower connection, use that (and your internal water pump) to run the black tank flush.

For (obvious) sanitary / safety reasons, you would never plumb them together, but making the temporary connection just to drive fresh water into the flush device is no problem.
