Newbie questions

Yesterday DH and I picked up our 2014 Roo 21SS. We bought from a dealer who buys trade ins from other dealers. We were told we would get a walk through and learn how to use everything. .....well, let's just say that didn't happen. The guy had good general knowledge about trailers but basically no specific Roo knowledge.

So, please forgive me as we figure all this out as we are completely new to trailers and I'm sure I will have LOTS of questions!!

So, 1st- can someone please explain the water hook ups to me? Here in a pic of what we have ( sorry it's sideways ). The guy was super confused on the two water things on top. I just want to make sure we have it right before our 1st go!

Also, what do you do with the table while traveling. I asked him how to fold it down and he didn't know......so we left it up. It tipped over and the edge piece came loose. We fixed it, but that was super annoying because now I think you probably need to put it down when you are driving!?!?!?

Thanks in advance!!!

You should put the table down while traveling.

The water connections are labeled on the side. Bottom for
city hookup and the top connection is used when you winterize.

The two "hoe" connectors are one for "city" or "shore" water, and the other is for winterizing with RV antifreeze. And of course, the ig one is to get water into your fresh water tank. The table is a pain but it will fold when the yellow button is oushed and pulled towards you. Probably FR needs a 25 page manual and video to teach one how to do it...lol

Mine has the water inlets.. one on top of the other.. and no.. they aren't marked.. and wasn't explained to me either which one is for what.. so we guessed our first time out and used the top one.. it worked.. so guess we were right..

The table thing.. ugh..there is another thread here if you look.. where I had the same issue.. figuring out how to fold it.. ( mine is a Roo 19).. I'm thinking it is the same table.. but took me A LOT of fiddling and help from people here to fold it down, and I leave it down for packing things there.. and sleeping on, while in route to destination..

Hope that helps.. and ask away.. cause I'm new also..and have gotten great info from people here..

Thanks everyone-

I saw the signs above the ports, but wanted to make sure that is what they meant.

The table is a bit of a pain. I think I figured it out, I went out and worked on it today!

We always travel with our table in the "bed" configuration, we put all our linens, sleeping bags, outside folding table, and folding lawn chairs on it for travel, those are all the first things to go outside when we get on site and then we put the table up for the duration of our stay, then i put it down when we leave to pack all our stuff back on it. works well for us

Make sure you buy a water regulator to put on the spigot at the campground then special drinking water hose and a Camco online water filter would be a good idea. Always run campground water before connecting to the Roo gets rid of any sediment that is sitting in the pipes so that doesn't go into your Roo

We always fill water tank at the house so we have our own water, but with having bottled water for drinking I still use it to cook with. there are a couple you tubes that dealers have made that walk through the camper with you. Enjoy, we love our 183.

I never can get the table folded down so we just turn ours upside down while we travel.
