If the 2015 is like the 2013, then there is some hidden storage in the back I love having.
Hi,
Just checked my 21SS and i have the same! Unfortunately they ran the water and power cords about 4" intot he compartment rather than right against the rear wall, but I think it might still be a good place to store long narrow items like fishing poles, folding camp chairs et.

Thanks again all. Had another quick question about the slide. Is it okay to use the slide only partially extended? And is it okay to move the camper a few feet with the slide extended.

I only ask because I have it in the driveway and pull it out farther from the garage when I want to open it up. And I was thinking there may be times when the slide can't be fully extended. I recognize it is risky to move with slide extended to avoid hitting things, and I likely never will...but, is it structurally okay just to move the camper a few feet on a level surface while extended?

I wouldn't leave the slide partially extended, and especially not moving it that way. I don't think it's properly supported in that position.

We didn't ask, the dealer specifically told us the slides must be full in or full out in locked position. And the more level the camper, the better. As for moving the unit with the slide extended, that would not be recommended.
With inertia, when you start to move, even slightly, the extended slide will will be slower to respond to movement, thus stressing the mechanism. When stopping, the camper will stop, but the slide will have the tendency to keep moving, again stressing the mechanisms. Then add, any up/down jarring. There is a lot of weight hanging out there and it's not designed to be moving in the extended position. You are taking unnecessary chances in causing damage.

Thanks. I expected those answers, but am trying to learn as much as I can about the camper so wanted to ask the question.

Hey peas, what others have said is correct something to consider is that if the slide is not all the way out or in then the seals are not sealing so bugs, water, dirt etc will get inside just something to think about
