No Battery Power in my 23IKSS

For some strange reason I have no power when I use the battery, but when I'm hooked up to 110, everything works great. The hitch works but nothing else. I thought someone mentioned there's a reset switch near the hitch? I don't see anything like that near the hitch. Please tell me this is a quick fix because it's gonna be going to the shop and I hate if it's something like a reset button.

is the battery cutoff switch on the lower wall to the left of entrance door pushed in ? If so, pull it out when camping and on battery power and push in while in storage to prevent battery drain.

I know what you're talking about. Mine is located near the back bunk, near the floor, on the left when your walking in. It's been pulled out the entire time. When it's pushed in, nothing works, not even the slide outs. I'm beginning it must be a little more serious. Do you think the converter might be shot?

Look underneath the hitch for either a fuse or mini-breaker with small push button on side. either change fuse or push small button. If you have a multimeter check voltage a battery , should be around 12.5 volts.

Yup, I looked under there and I have two fuses and at the time I checked them, they were both good. Do you have a photo of where the reset button underneath is?

When your plugged in and everything works, then your converter is working. It is outputting the 12v you need for those systems.
So, doubt your converter is shot.
It really sounds like Fonzie described, you have a blow fuse/breaker somewhere in the 12v circuit.
Did you look at the converter yet to check for any blown fuses?

Bad cutoff switch or maybe if a new unit they never actually connected the battery ?? I'd put a voltmeter on battery terminals to confirm you have a charge. I think the battery will only charge if the cutoff switch is in the connect position ( out) and you are on shore power or connected to tv. if dead you may have to charge a couple of hours before you try battery only power

No I don't have one for your specific unit, look under trailer near tongue....as shown above.

I checked all the fuses in the converter/fuse box and they were all good. In fact, I doubled checked the two fuses underneath just now and they were both good. I just got back from camping with it this weekend and had to use the generator, and the times I was using it, it did charge the battery, at least that what it read on the control panel display. It read 2/3.

I suppose I should mention that last fall when I was storing it for the winter, I had to back it into a extremely tight spot in a barn and ended up pinching the cord and instead of trying to fix it, I had it replaced by a mechanic. Everything worked great last year and this is the first time I had it out this year. I did open the junction box underneath to make sure everything was connected within the wiring nuts, and it all looked good. Now what?

Could it be the mechanic possibly wired it wrong?
and if so does anyone know where I could find the wiring schematics?

The breaker is the rectangular grey box in the photo, should have a black button on the side. That may need to be reset.

It may have happened when the tech was repairing the cable. At least it was an easy fix for you! They're the best kind.

It usually happens when someone crosses the battery wires.
