Off to the factory

Dropped off my Roo to the Millersburg Facility.

Gregg Rollins has been helpful

While I have been very disappointed in the fact that a factory issue with Delam is being pushed on to our pocketbooks I am willing to getting it fixed and pay for it for the sake of my family's joy. I will reserve my judgement when I have to pay the bill and look at the quality of the work.... Maybe they will come through

Best of luck, depo.

If its any consolation, the factory is reputed to do excellent repairs. Maybe you can post some "before" and "after" pics when you get the camper back.

Looks like mine, but worse. I hope it looks brand new when you get it back!

Oh that will look brand new because that wall will be a brand new wall. They will take the trailer apart and put a new front wall in.

The bigger question is what are you to do to prevent this from reoccurring as it seems to be a problem area.

I am hoping that the new bed attachment system will prevent it from leaking again. If not a 2109S is in my future.

The customer should not have to worry that the manufacture cannot build a quality product to start with.

I hope they did it right this time. Good luck.

I bought a brand new blue 1987 Mustang that within eighteen months the paint started to peel. I took it back to the dealer called and wrote Ford directly and nothing was ever done to get the paint repaired. I would have driven it Detroit to have the paint repaired but no one would ever listen or try rectify the situation(haven't owned a Ford since).

I have just this week received a email reply from Roger Beiler the (Warranty Administrator) at FR in his email he stated that they would be sending me a new bunk door as a replacement if i could replace it myself or have a facility replace it. With that said i am verry happy with with the response due to the trailer is nolonger under warranty

I was contacted by the factory. She stated and sent me an excel file that they replaced the front and rear wall. They put new bunk ends in, the new design. They resealed the whole camper. They replaced all the marker lights and a new spare tire carrier (do not know why?). They also noticed that the DVD player was quirky and replaced it with the new Bluetooth design. Decals and fit and finish was completed also.

All of this for the agreed replacement cost which was negligible....

My roo is 2009. The sad thing was that it only saw 8 nights in it until we bought it last February.

It was kept and maintained at an RV dealership. A huge well respected dealership.

This is a design issue, whether they want to admit it or not.....

Last August at the Rally in Elkhart, I request a service call to review the bunk ends on my 2009 23SS. The bunk ends appear to be delaminating, which I was sure.. The FR tech did confirm that the outer covering was delaminating and offered to replace the bunk ends with the new design. We scheduled the work at the factory for the end of our camping season.

We took the trailer to Middleburg in September and left it for two days. They replaced both bunk ends, an electric tonque jack, repaired a slideout problem, re-caulked all joints, replaced the flap door on the vent hood, cleared a clogged water line and winterized the trailer. All this was done at no charge.

As far as I'm concerned, FR has gone above and beyond.
