OK help again. Inverter/converter
I have a Champion 4000/3500 generator.

Sorry left out the question mark. Why would i want one over the other.We usually use full hook ups.

Your Champion 3500 is a noisy non inverter contractor style generator, that runs at full rpms all the time.
Most inverter generators are much quieter and only rev up during a load. And they provide cleaner power. They can recharge batteries at idle and around 53-55db, while your Champion does it at 65db.

Exactly why I ordered two Champion 73536i with a parallel kit. For ~$1000 new, not refurb, the two 1700/2000 watt inverter generators easily run my AC and if one goes wonky on me, I still have a backup for everything but AC. But most importantly for me, as with bikendan, I can handle the 50 lbs each all by myself.

you Google INverter generators, NOT CONverter generators.

converters are in RVs, not generators.
