Question Our 2012 Roo 183

Hey all, my Roo has a build date of Mar 2011, but the VIN code confirms 2012. Thanks to mtnguy for a link in another post.

Some things I've noticed on my Roo as compared to other posts regarding mods and such as I get to know my camper better:

The bumper now has holes top and bottom to better secure the end caps which have nubs to fit the holes, perhaps FR got the idea from the posts and mods here?

I cannot find a shut off valve for the BBQ quick connection. There is a junction where it splits for the fridge and BBQ, a junction for the stove/oven/furnace, but no shut off. As a matter of fact, there are no shut offs anywhere from the tanks to the junction points. Are these no longer required, or were only on PUPs?

I'm not crazy about the location of the plumbing low points, right in front of the left forward tire ????

From what I've seen on older Roos, there was only room for one battery? They made it easier to place 2 batteries side by side now?

Not sure of the reasoning behind this water shut off at fresh water tank to the pump? And i'm not thrilled about the lack of a quick drain valve, by the time you get this cap off, you're wet!

Oh well, off to see what else I can find......

Duh, just had an ah hah moment when I submitted this. The water shut off must be so that the pump remains primed when you drain tank????

FWIW, I don't have the freshwater shutoff valve on my 2012 Roo 233S (or that inline drain). I do, however, have a shutoff right at the quick disconnect on the RVQ gas line.

I've opened my freshwater tank plug and don't get wet. It is a small hole (1/8") and it seems to take forever to drain.
