I would just replace them with telescoping mirrors. That's what I did.

I ordered these from Amazon. Fairly simple to attach and hardly any vibrations. Most reviewers thought so as well.

Safe and happy travels.

I don't have the CIPA's but I do have (can't recall the brand right now) some that are custom made for the Ram 1500 that are slip-overs just like the CIPA's and I am extremely happy with them. Inxexpensive, rock solid and easy to mount/dismount. I keep my Ram mirrors normally adjusted out to cover blind spots. It's nice having this second mirror pointed more to the rear and leave my Ram mirrors where they normally reside.

Highly recommended.

I'd go with the moose antlers!

Had them on the last two Ram's I've owned and they work well.

I have these on my 2016 RAM 1500 and they work well...........not as well as the factory tow mirrors but much less costly.

K source snap and zap was our choice. Love the fit and look but still a hair shy of long enough for the passenger side IMHO
