I second the notion of using two tables (if you don't use the grill, that is!). Table surfaces are always at a premium.

The outside factory tables are particle board with Formica cover and plastic edging. If left out and the dew or water gets on them they will eventually warp and come apart. Don't ask how I know.

Is this what you want?

I put this under my hitch on my 5er. Use it to hang a table and put my Colman 2 burner stove on it or my grill. when I park in a road side rest.
Can cook or make my coffee even in the rain cause I am under the hitch. don't have to unhook anything.

Lol, thanks for the info. I'll have to keep an eye on it. We camped about a dozen times in all kinds of weather last year (bought it in March) and twice so far this year and it rained both times. We keep the awning out 99% of the time, so that probably helps protect it. Still looks new.

We have the awning out 100% of the time the table was out. Took about 3 yrs before it started coming unlamented. No big deal, I just took the metal attaching rail off the table and threw the table in the trash. Used the metal strip on the coffee pot.

Lots of differing opinions on the grill from FR. My take...yes , it is rather cheaply made...no, it's not as good as my Weber at home. We like to cook over the campfire, but when it's 90 degrees out, and I don't want to screw with a fire, I can still grill a mean steak. I don't know how much it costs but when mine goes, I will get another.

Mine is outside on a timer as well. I'm always outside when I need my refills anyway! And the DW sleeps in...

My Roo 2016 has a black plastic material for the shelf, not Formica. On my old pop up I had the Formica one, and I would slide a plastic bag over it if it was going to rain.

Lol. I kinda thought I was the odd one out. I always got up an hour or two or three before DW...kids another story. I had to tip-toe to try and not wake DW up. I will have to eventually move outside...assuming I get another trailer someday.
