outside tv mount
Was wondering if anyone knows the weight limit of the outside tv mount on my 2019 21SS? Was looking at putting a 40 inch tv out there, weight would be 15 pounds not including the mount. Thanks all.

Maybe check the weight of the inside TV. I have a 2018 21SS, the TV inside can be moved outside but I would rather not move the TV back and forth. We are looking into getting another TV and (when we are ready) will purchase the quick disconnect mount found here: https://shop.ramco-eng.com/collectio...ick-disconnect.

The 32 inch we have inside weighs 8.5 pounds as per the specs. I will get the same ramco mount as well, and the mount will hold 25 pounds, so no problems there. Just don't want to put around 18 pounds on my outside mount and have it pull out of the trailer.

I ended up buying a 43 inch tv for outside and it seems to work perfect. Does not look too big nor to small for this trailer. Does not seem to be pulling at the outside mount at all. The specs for the mount said it is rated for 25 pounds, and I am at about 18 pounds with tv and mount. I think we are good to go with this set up!

I've got a 47" outside, custom mount to stock bracket, weight close to the trailer and straight down is better than a movable swing mount that is farther away and pulling at an angle.

Used it this weekend and it worked great! Kept the mount close to the trailer so as not to have a lot of pull on the mount by having it extended. Being able to have it swivel was great though. If sun put a glare on it, we could just swivel it a little and move our chairs. Did not appear to be pulling on the trailer mounting plate. Just be prepared to have people stop by and ask what the score is and/or stay and watch awhile! Was a good way to meet some really good people.

It would help if you posted what the exterior bracket looks like.

The bracket we made.
Holds a 40" TV and can be flipped to raise or lower the height, tilted, or swiveled. Looking also for a way to mount a oscillating fan option (when TV isn't up)

You could just forget about trying to find something that will work and limit you to putting your outside TV in just one place and go with GoStick Products suction cup mount. I have been using them for 5 years now for both my 48” TV and an oscillating fan. You can check them out here:

Dang Bruce, now why did you have to go and do that... all my hard work (30 min) and hard earned money ($12 and spare parts) are all for not...
Need me one of those to go with my suction cup flag pole.
