Pantry Light Modification 233S

Inadequate lighting in the pantry made for difficult times in finding items in he pantry.
I installed 4 led lights off of one of the empty switch slots on he panel next to the sink.
Now I can see!

Good job. I have done all the cabinets except dishes and bathroom. Can't believe this is not an option.

could also throw a paddle switch on the door to come on when the door is opened. might be easier in some installs.

I know this is an older thread, but can you get details on the hardware used and wiring runs?

I put a switch in one of the spots on the control panel. Found constant power and ground to the switch, ran a power wire from the switch to the led strips for each shelf. Then ran a ground wire for each led strip. The switch illuminates when on. I think the switch was $5.00 and the led strip was $29.00 at radio shack. The led strip comes in a 4ft section. I can post pictures when it stops snowing.
