Part I'm not sure what it is

This was a part that came with our trailer. Does anyone know what it's for?

Tub/shower plug. My son accidentally kicked ours. The pin part fell in the drain and I had to remove the 'P' trap to get it out. I left the plug off. Don't need it. I will get a rubber one if I feel the need for one.

Thanks everyone. Mystery solved with your help. It is the shower plug. The sink had a plug already in it. My question is this. Why would you want to plug your shower drain? The shower tub would fill up and water spill all over the floor? I guess if you had a young child you could fill it up with a couple of inches of water and have a small tub to wash the baby. Am I missing something here?

It's not to hold water in the bottom of the shower, but to keep the grey tank smell from coming into your trailer if the trap dries up..

I push it in all the time when we travel.
If the p -trap empty itself, then bad odors from the grey tank come back inside.
Maybe silly, but that's what I do.

It will probably also keep smaller things like your toothpaste tube cap from going into the P-trap.

Oh, I see!!! Thank you very, very much!!! Super helpful!!! I tell you what, you all are life savers!! We had a pop up just before we bought our Roo and I had a pop up owner tell me that switching from a pop up to a TT is not like going from a horse and buggy to a car. I have to say that man is totally wrong!!!! There is a lot more for me to learn. I really appreciate all of your help.
