I recently read a post from a Pathfinder owner who chose not to listen to similar advice.
After one trip he bought a v-8 truck to tow the trailer with.

That would be me.

I have a Flagstaff 23LB. The pathfinder can pull it and all the weights work out. I had a problem with the suspension not being stiff enough. I added airbags to the pathfinder and that help. At highway speeds, the pathfinder is working very hard. My fear was that over the long haul, I would be putting too much stress on that motor running at 3000 plus rpm. If we were to travel anywhere that had some climbs, we were going to be a rolling speed bump.

I know the pathfinder is up to the job but my comfort was worth getting a better tow vehicle.
