Does the 19 roo require 15amp or 30 amp?? I pick mine up in April

I would like to know why you are asking? If you are looking to have power to your trailer while at home, even if it takes 30 amps you can plug into a standard 15 amp plug with an adapter. My trailer also takes 30 amps, but at home I have it plugged into 15 amp power. At home I am rarely running more than 10 amps.

If you are looking at adding a plug to where you park the trailer, then yes- have more power available. As I said I only have a 15 amp plug where the trailer is now, but I ran the underground cable capable of handling 20 amps. That way it is there if I need to upgrade down the road.

In case anybody is wondering why I didn't do 20 amps to start with; that would have involved re-wiring the garage. As for why I didn't run a cable capable of 30 amps; once again that amount of power would have been a strain on what is available in my garage.

I have a 19 - 30A is what you need to get all electrics to work : air conditioning and all.

But connected to a 15A circuit will do fine if you do not use the AC - I do this all the time when parked at home, as I do not have a 30A plug. It charges the batteries and I can use everything else.

You will need a 30A to 15A adapter, a must have in my books.

depends on what you want to run.
it's a 30amp trailer but you can get the adapter and run most everything, except maybe the a/c.

Thanks this helps me. Some sites only have 15 amp left so do you take a chance in July and August of not having A/C on.

It looks like your Roo has the same A/C as I have in my Wolf Pup. If that is the case, you would be able to run the A/C on 15 amp power; just as long as you have next to nothing else running in the trailer. I seem to recall my A/C unit at peak draw was just around 1300 watts; or about 11 amps. Keep in mind you don't want to max it out. If you are on 15 amp power put the fridge and water heater onto propane when running the A/C, and don't use the microwave or any other electric appliances.

Where do you live? This can be a major factor with respect to A/C. It's one thing for me camping in the Rockies to say I can get by without it. It's quite another for somebody in Texas. In some places an hour of running the A/C is enough to cool the trailer off.

I live in Ontario and we get the heat and humidity so I need A/c for sure.
