I vote in favor of the power awning and tie down poles. Easier to use and with the poles, just as good in wind and rain.

Ohhh, you might as well ask which is better- Coke or Pepsi.

Manual awnings are stronger but more work setting up and taking down. There is more flexibility with manual awnings in adjusting pitch on them for cleaning and sun/shade making.

Power awnings arms are way weaker, but they're just a push button to setup/take down. Many with power awnings use support poles to give them the same strength as manual awnings.

Power awning and Oldcoots tie down poles. Never leave home without them.

for me, i prefer a manual awning to a power one.
i don't find a manual that hard or time consuming. from what my friends have shown me with their power awnings, my manual is a lot more tweakable.

Power/Coke. Power is so nice since we bring the awning in and out everyday.

I never had a power awning. I feel a good old manual is good for me.

Well, after working with a bag awning for 11 years, the manual awning on my Roo feels like a power awning. LOL! (And I mostly drink green tea, but I vote for Pepsi products. Diet Mt. Dew is my favorite.)

A cold glass of Coke UNDER your new power awning. Gotta say, feels pretty Kingly to have the "red carpet" rolled out for you.
