Power Jack LED

I went to hook up my 2018 Roo 233S today and discovered my LED light was not working. Has anyone experienced this issue? Im surprised a LED light quit working on a HTT that is only 1 year old and has only been out 5x.

Same thing happened to my 2016 233S. It worked a few times and then quit. I replaced the receptacle and it has been fine since.

i DID WAY BACK IN 2015 WHEN MINE WAS ABOUT 1 YEAR OLD. I also lost the LED light on the electrical plug on the trailer to show that is getting power.. a slight inconvenience.

I never work in the dark without a flashlight anyway, and I never really need that weak light on the electric jack anyway. Chances are the jack as it's own warranty, just as the microwave oven in your unit does, and FR will not cover it.

Not really unusual. Look at the LED's that are not lit on a lot of truck tail lights. One reason they have so many individual LEDs. They're getting better, but some still fail.

It's also possible a wire has come loose or the switch is bad.

It could be that water has gotten into it and corroded the wires. I opened it up the other day to see if I can rotate it so the tailgate would clear and I noticed some corrosion starting with it being less than a year old. I cover it with a bucket when I am at home to keep the water out.

BTW has anyone had any luck with rotating the head? I was thinking of unbolting it and re-drilling where it hooks into the frame.

There are several threads on this. Put "rotate jack" into the search field at the top of page.

Sometimes the head only can be rotated... alot easier then unbolting the entire jack from the trailer.
