Power tongue jack problem
I went to pick up my 233S Roo and the power tongue jack wouldn't work. So I figured my battery was dead because it was been about 3 months since we had it out. I brought the battery home to charge and it wouldn't take a charge. So I got a new deep cycle battery. I still had the original in there and wanted to change it out anyways so no big deal. I put the new battery in there and it still is not working.
I got up under the front of the unit because my neighbor who had forest river different make and model said there was a reset button you have to push if you remove the battery. I tried that and still no luck.
Am I missing anything?
Thanks!

Did you have the jack head covered with something?
Some have had water get in the jack and ruin it.

Usually there is an in-line fuse for the jack from the positive post of the battery.

Plug into your tow vehicle and try it. If it works then, you have an inline fuse problem. This happened to me some time ago and drove me crazy until I replaced the fuse block. It will be located a short distance from the positive line off the battery under the frame. Use a volt meter to check both sides of the fuse for power, if none after the fuse that is the problem. Good luck.

That's the first thing I would check, too. If its an LCI jack (which is a common OEM jack) than the 30A fuse is located by following the RED power wire beneath the jack. Its a 30A ATO-type fuse.

Light on the front of the jack lights up. I checked the 30amp fuse and it looks good.

I did end up using the manual jack. All I did was take off the top level then cranked away to move it up. I could hear the motor making sounds as I was turning it. Was I suppose to disengage the electric motor some how before doing this?

No the motor can not be disengaged.

first, if you don't have a battery disconnect switch, the trailer's parasitic power drains will empty a battery in just a few days, if it's not plugged into shore power.
second, many new owners accidently cross the battery wires, when installing the battery. this trips a gray or silver resettable breaker/fuse that is along the A-frame, between the battery and the front of the trailer.
there's a tiny black button you push to reset the breaker/fuse. this will restore 12v battery power to the trailer.
or the fuse along the battery wire has blown.

I think your next step is to check with your multimeter that the jack's motor is getting power. Assuming it is, than the jack probably needs to be replaced and you are still under warranty.
Our first jack's motor on our current camper failed after three months.

I double checked the battery cables they are on correctly. My red wire from the battery runs from the positive post to this little black box where a few other wires come into it. I pushed the reset button and held it in for 10 or 15 seconds. It pushed soft didn't hear or feel anything reset if you know what I mean. The only 30 amp fuse is also connected to that box in a green color covering, that fuse is good.

Check to be sure jack is properly grounded via its bolts... Poor ground might allow the light to function, but will not allow the motor to turn...
