My local dealer, when confronted with a quote from RVW, refused to budge off his "best price" of about 10% under MSRP. RVW was about 33% below MSRP. Needless to say, he did not make a sale and RVW did.

Some dealers are so out of touch on price that it's not even funny.

The 2016 233s is 24000 is the lowest I've found so far. Loaded up.. Locally. The manufacturing costs have gone up so the 16s will cost more. And they also have been selling these units like crazy so demand is there, unfortunately they are bound to jack up the price .

Is that the price on a "clean deal" or is that what they are quoting you with your trade-in involved?

That's the price with the trade, essentially my trade is only worth about 14 as 2 other dealers have stated... So if thier giving me 5 extra grand for the trade then I buying the new one for 20 ish.. I think lol

We bought our 2014 233S in February of 2014 (right before the 2015 models were out) for $18,500. The same dealer currently has a 2015 for nearly the same price. We drove nearly 3 hours to buy from Colman's RV in Springfield, IL. We could not beat their price anywhere.

I bought my 2013 233s as a left over for 17995, plus got 500.00 in store credit, two years winterization and summerization, 5 year interior and exterior protection. That's why it's hard for me to pay MSRP :/

I didn't want to pay more than $10k for my 2015 23ikss after my 5 year old trade. Tax, title, reg transfer, yada yada, came in at exactly $10k at Campers Inn. Last Sept.

If you look at RVW's website, they don't give prices, but they give monthly payments (at 8.75% for 144 months) of $230.46 for a loaded '16 23SS That works out to $20,500

You should be able to beat 24K easy.

That's most likely a clean deal, no trade

Wow, prices have sure gone up since we bought ours in 2006.
We paid $14.5k for our new well equipped 23SS.

The best is they keep stating well $31,500 is the MSRP your getting a great deal on a Roo 23IKSS at $27,995? Really no one I know ever pays MSRP or near it, when dealers use that on me I walk. Needless to say I got s fully loaded late 2015 with every option but SS Appliances and upgraded AC and paid $10K less then MSRP with all sorts of other incentives, no freight and prep, no PDI fee and got what I wanted on my trade so I did well.

Just google some other dealer's numbers, print them out, and rub them in the dealers face.

I did that exactly from Rv trader, they did not like that, they tried to give me the bs lines of each dealer gets different incentives and most that are close to the factory just pick them up so they don't pay freight...

I felt there was value to me to be closer to home so I did not expect a full price match, but using other dealer quotes did help get them in the neighborhood. I think I ended up around 500 higher after a ton of back and forth but decided that was acceptable.

I am from wisconsin and the local dealer wanted 22k for a 233s without the fancy wheels, without the power tongue and without the oven. I found an awesome dealer in Indiana. Colerain rv. I got the 233s I wanted fully loaded with the power tongue, the the fancy wheels and with the stove and with the colors on the inside I wanted. I drove 4 hrs to get it and only paid 19k. I am a happy camper. I have had it over a yr and the only problem was the inside water filter. The dealership made me feel like a king when I bought it. I would def drive 4 hrs again to do it all over. I love that dealership. They went thru everything inside and out and even video taped it so I could go over it and watch it later if I had questions. They put the video on a dvd for me an everything. I night recommend colerain rv in Indy. That's just my two cents. Click image for larger version

airmech: Did you try Roskopf's in Richfield, WI? We've bought all 3 of our RVs from them and felt we got a good deal on all 3.

Hi Craigster: Do you find towing your Rockwood Mini lite with your Ford F150 ecoboost? Did you use an equalizer hitch w/ or w/o sway bars? And do you worry about how much cargo weight you add to the TT?
Thanks, Evergreen49
