Price

Does anybody know what it actually costs a dealer for a sharmock 233s? I'm here in NY. Seems the prices are about $5000 more up here than down southward.

Dealers actual invoice is a fairly guarded secret. I would check out the rig you're interested in on NADA... calculate 30-35% off MSRP, then with those prices in mind it should get you pretty close to what you can expect to pay.

I'm not familiar with pricing on the East coast, but I could imagine there are going to be some price differences due to transportation cost, fuel taxes, dealer overhead... stuff like that. No idea first hand though.

Where did you get a quote from? Sevenos in Syracuse (Cicero) is where we got our Roo, and they were within $1200 of RVW's price, which when you figure in the cost to go get it, was pretty close. They have a bunch of Roo's in stock - not sure if they have a 233S at the moment.

And they have been awesome after the sale, unlike our closest Shamrock dealer.

Doesn't seem like you should be seeing that big a price difference.

We paid in the $20-$22,000 range for a late 2015 Roo 23IKSS Fully Loaded every option that is offered but Stainless Steel Appliance Package and 15K BTU AC, other than that we have every single option. We got ours from Mcgeorgesrv in Ashland VA great sales and service. We got what we wanted for our trade they offered us the most, everyone else offered bottom line Book. You can look up Dealers Invoices but price is like $17,000 without options on a 23IKSS should be similar on 233S or 23SS

I have a 2013 shamrock 233s which I am trading in... They are offering me 19500 which is pretty good for the trade but I still should not have to pay MSRP on the new unity, I know the sales games they are just going to make up their money from the trade with me paying the full MSRP on the new unit.. We have had so many problems with this dealer it's crazy..

IMHO, Great Outdoors are the worst dealer on the planet so I wouldn't buy anything from them no matter how great their price is, or even if they were the only rv dealer on the planet, but that's just me...

At the end of the day all that matters is what is the net cash out your pocket - your trade for the new one. How ever they write it up is just gamesmanship.

And we highly recommend Sevenos. They just gave us an "out the door" price" - no high pressure salesman games. And they have been super as far as questions and service. They sell a lot of Roo's so I'm sure if they don't have the one you want in stock they'll order it.

Couldn't be a more night and day difference between the 2 dealers.
