Propane not working

So when I was camping this weekend I tried to light my Rvq. No luck. Tried my furnace at night. No luck. Tried my stove burner in the morning. Would barely stay lite. Low pressure? Regulator bad by tanks? Spiders? Any ideas? Gonna look at it tonight

Low tank? It's possible you ran into one of these two issues that have been encountered by myself and my BIL:

1) Only turned one tank on, so auto changeover didn't changeover.
2) Was told by the dealer they had an auto changeover, but opps, it's actually manual and doesn't switch when the tanks empty.

Alright, just had to be sure. What you described was the same symptoms both of us ran into.

Did you physically check the LP line from the tanks to the underbelly? I know at one point there where some recalls on the LP lines because they passed between the axels and the under supports. Folks would hit a small bump and end up crushing their LP lines. Just a thought. Otherwise it's probably a regulator issue.

I'd try shutting the tanks completely off.
Then VERY VERY slowly turn them back on.

Sounds like the opd valve popped.
This happens quite often.

Before turning your tanks back on, make sure that all appliances are shut off 1st, including the fridge (on gas), the furnace, the stove, and water heater (on gas). If there is not enough back pressure in the lines when 1st turning the valves on, there is a built in safety system that will shut off the tanks.

Also, if the propane was previously off for a while you may have to be patient while the air is purged. On my TT, it took about 20 seconds to get from the tanks on the tongue to the mid-ships range and then at least another 30 seconds (5 or more light attempt cycles) before the WH at the back bumper would catch.

I ran into the same thing. My tanks had sat for years with the used TT I bought. I thought the propane system was fubared. I wound up taking off the valves and reseating them. The propane flowed like should.

Thanks guys! Turned off propane. Took off hoses to tanks. Check connections. They were clean. Hooked hoses back up. Made sure everything propane was turned off. Turned tanks on super slow. Fired up mint! Everything is back up and running! Cheers!
