Pulled the Trigger!

Just bought the new 2015 Shamrock 23IKSS. I just couldn't wait any longer. This is a beauty. I can't wait for my first camping trip. Cheers!

I was going through all of the manuals they give you at the PDI and noticed some of them are extremely outdated. Mine TT is a 2015 and couldn't find any manual that had recent parts. I had one manual for the axles that only went up to 2006. Does that mean my axles are 8 years old? I am the type of person who likes to be prepared for the unexpected, so would like to have backup fuses for all of my parts.

No - I'm sure the axles were made recently. And the Dexter torsion axles that they use were probably designed or at least updated more recently than 2006.

We love our Roo, but the documentation that came with it is somewhere between vague and completely usless. Its generic (i.e. includes references to 5th wheel landing gear in places), and its just a disjointed pile of documents for the various components. Leaves many specific questions about the particular model unanswered.

And now your 2015 should have the easy-lube hubs and self-adjusting breaks which is really nice.

As for fuses - in the converter panel they are just standard automotive fuses, so one of those little vatiety packs of the flat blade fuses (up to 40 amps) would cover you other than any inline fuses after the battery or on the slides. I don't know what those may have - guess I should look before the need arises.

Congrats on the Shamrock!

The slide fuse is a 30 amp long blade type for the Roo. Many change it to the self resetting type fuse since its located under the trailer between battery and junction box.
