question about skylight in shower

I have a quick question for my fellow Roo'ers. The first weekend that we had our Roo, we went through and checked everything to make sure it was working, screwed down tight, etc. I checked the skylight over the shower and noticed that the clear panel attached to the ceiling was loose. I easily popped it off and threw it out. It was also plenty of condensation between the skylight and panel, so I dried it off and went about my day.

Now I wonder if I should have reglued that piece. I can easily get another piece of plexi to replace it if I need it. It's just nice for someone that is tall like me to have some extra headroom.
