Question on Roo Heated Mattresses

We just used the heated mattress and thought the same thing. The bed seemed to be warm only where there was body pressure. I had the foam topper and the heat seemed to come through.....could have also been the dog keeping my feet warm!!!

I got a chuckle out of the part about filing down the end - only because I thought the same thing - that I couldn't get the plug in far enough. Then, same story, gave up and went to bed, and discovered that thing really does work pretty good. We used them for the first time 2 weeks ago when it was in the upper 30's. They are great. I turned the thermostat down the second night because the bed was plenty warm.

One more unexpected little feature to like about our Roo...

I think some have tried Reflectix under the mattress to prevent condensation and separate the cool bed door from the heated mattress.

yep, we got condensation between the Reflectix and the mattress bottom, but not on the bunk door platform. this occurred whether we used the heating feature or didn't.

We have experienced the same thing. First night we tried I thought they weren't working but once you get in they heat right where you lay. Kept sticking my hand under the kids to make sure they were warm.
