I'm hearing the Husky centerline is very heavy. Anyone confirm that?
all WDH are big chunks of steel designed to pull and carry heavy weights safely... they all weigh allot... the heavy adjustable shank that goes into your 2" receiver mounted on your TV along with the 2 5/16 hitch ball attached with nothing else attached will weigh around 25-35# I would guess.
Once you have that shank part mounted into your receiver, then you install onto the shank the additional torsion bars and sway controls (depending on what make/model) onto that shank that then hook to your trailer. Total weight of all that steel will be over 50# and probably closer to 60-65# once everything is hooked to your TV.
If you are wary of carrying that weight and installing it into YOUR receiver, then remember, the hitch all starts with the shank portion, and once that is installed you build up the hitch with additional parts for the final package to pull your TT.
I hope that helps answer your concerns...
