Red wire under slide out

We have a 2015 Roo 21BD and found on our latest leg of our 3 month bucket list camping trip to the SW that the red wire under the slide out was severed. Can't find the other end but so far have determined that minimally the dome lite over dinette is not working. I know that within this red casing are a blue and white wire. Has this happened to anyone else .Ifeas?

Are there any other 12 volt items in the slide out? If so they're probably affected to.

You need to find the other end of those wires and reconnect them.

We are looking for the other end . It seems that there are other things missing, ie parts, since we can't find the connection but the slide does work. The dome lite is the only 12 volt item in the slide. The radio/entertainment center is behind the slide but I don’t know if that is working.

A little confused by description of red casing and red wire. I don't have your RV so. Be sure to tape or cover any wires that have become disconnected or severed Red is the 12v code for automotive + so don't let any color wire ground out to frame - on rv. Have someone check voltages and polarity before reconnecting wires if it is not obvious. The color codes do change at connections in rv's so don't rely on color alone for polarity. Look more for any severed connection or disconnection especially red or blue to keep them from grounding and causing damage.

Can you post a picture of the general area under the RV where the wires seem to have come from? There should be a flexible 'track' under the slide that the wire routes through.
