i assume you mean the bunk doors.

you should be able to purchase them from FR parts dept.

are you the original owner?
have the rubber seals around the bunk doors been maintained and checked over the years?
was there water pooling around the hinge area that would have wicked into the door laminate?

Bikendan - what do use to maintain the seals around the bunk doors? I'll need to knock that out when I pick up the Roo in the next couple of days along with a few other items.

Thanks!

you can buy seal conditioner at CW or Walmart's RV section.
a lot of owners swear by Aerospace 303 for their rubber seals.
but you need to inspect them for flat/compressed spots that aren't returning to their original shape.
also look for tears or places where the seals come together and look for gaps or splits.

Your Roo/Shamrock dealer can get them. Cheapest way is to have them sent inside a camper that is being delivered. May take longer to get them, but WAY CHEAPER on the freight charges.

Thanks bikendan. Do you use the same application for your slide out seals?

Seems like you would, but you never know!

When we bought our roo brand new they never said anything about maintaining seals or caulking anything we asked about the screened fold puts and they said oh campers have come a long way over the years. Besides letting them completely dry if they get wet from rain, there is no need to treat them.

mary, i wish you'd found any hybrid forum when you first bought your trailer.
you would've got a different picture and lots of advice and info. i first found the 3 main hybrid forums back in 2005.

do you mean the canvas tent ends, when you say "screened fold puts"?
they were correct that you don't need to treat them, because they are vinylized canvas. the threaded seams sometimes do need seam sealer.
plus, condensation inside the canvas can happen and uninformed owners assume that the canvas is leaking when it's actually not.
