Replacement power tongue jack

Tried to find this on the Roo forum, but couldn't seem to find it, but what is the best replacement for the crappy Lippert tongue jack. Looking at Barker 3500 VIP.

I installed the Barker 3500 on my last trailer and couldn't be happier. If my current trailer ever fails that's what I would replace it with. I also suggest you purchase the soft cover for it to keep out water.

I've had an Ultra Fab refurbished power jack, from Ebay, for almost 10 years now.
Cost me less than $100

X2.
If ever my 23ws factory jack goes, this is the one I will buy. I had the Ultrafab on my two previous hybrids and never had problems with them.

I've got the Barker 3500 VIP jack and it works great. Check your bunk end heights when it's extended though. My jack is about 1-2cm too high. I have to take the level on top of the jack out and I put a thick towel between the jack and the bunk end to provide cushion.

I bought a 3500 lb. electric tongue jack through Walmart for $100 and free shipping, just search it on their website. The only thing it doesn't have is an on/off switch, but I just wired my own. I like the LED lights that are on at night. It's like having a nitelite.

I hope I don't hijack this thread too much, but I have a related question. Currently, I have a manual jack on my Roo 183 and am in the market for a power jack. Is there enough clearance between the bottom of the lowered front bed and the top of the powered jack?

I was told that some jack models won't fit.

My Ultra Fab 3500 does.

I have the Barker as well. I had in on my Roo 19 and I had to remove the level on the top of the jack and put the cover back on as the bunk was touching the top of the jack. I transferred the jack to my Roo 23IKSS and I have almost 6" between the bunk and the jack so it varies by model. The Barker jack has served my well and there customer service is great.
