Thanks for the good read! It helps to share that anticipation as the waiting feels so helpless...especially when it does not go according to schedule.

Correct me if I am wrong but the Rockwood/Flagstaff plant waits until there is enough of one floor plan before they will build it. This way they can have all the jigs set up for the build. Our 832IKBS was already a dealer order when we purchased it and it still took over 8 weeks last year. Our new Forrester 3011ds was ordered 2-18 and came off the line 4-21. It is currently at the paint shop for full body paint and with any luck it will be delivered to the dealer around Mothers Day.

I looked seriously at the HW296 with shower/bath and dual axle but they were not much less than the Roo. My buddy has the 21SS and said after going camping in the cold and rain he is able to just jump in his camper if it is raining at the campground, but if I get the HW and arrive in the cold or rain I have to setup the whole thing before being able to relax. He was right we went in end of March it rained heavy and was 25 degrees at night but I am able to plug in H2O, sewer, electric and don't have to put the ends out and relax in the Roo, when the rain stops get out disconnect it and level it plus if is cold we can sleep on the sofa bed and not put the bunk ends out. Glad I listened to him, maybe not perfect Yet (no mods done yet) but it is new, clean and needs nothing has the space we need and more. We made mistakes with the first camper but this time around we did our researched and only carry what we really need. The first thing I will do this weekend is wash and wax the Roo, put a heavier shower curtain in, and get an inline Progressive 30 AMP surge installed, then we will see from there.

I too purchased at RVW. I tried to work with Chad in December, and had too much going on. It waited until Feb., and with a new salesperson, the order was placed the last day of Feb. Both times I was told 8-10 weeks. I am at 9 weeks now.

Rockwood production schedule?

Was really planning on spending the whole week leading to memorial at the campground. The latest for sure arrival dates are the 7th, 8th or 9th.

One down, two to go...until the next "for sure" date anyway, lol.

Yeah, they said it would arrive 7-9, could pick up on 15th. Tentatively planning on 18th and staying at campground the whole week as it will fill up by Wednesday.

After going through this same cycle a month ago I am mentally prepared that this has about a 2% chance of actually happening. 2% is the power of positive thinking because in reality the chances are much lower, lol.

I wish Amazon would start selling campers...at least I could have a tracking number.

Haha...as much as I love my EcoBoost...and I do....my rear window just stopped working, it smells like cow manure when I run the AC, and last time I took it to the dealer for an oil change they forgot to screw back on the skid plate and it flew off on the interstate.

In other words, life with it is probably just like my future Roo.

I love the freaking truck though...love it.

Well it is officially 10 weeks to the day. I called RVW, and my sales person said she would get the transportation guy to call me. I am waiting for a Roo 183. I get the impression it's not on site yet. I'm o k with it taking a little longer, but I have to plan an 8 hour trip from the east coast to go get it, and schedule time off work. It will give a little more time to get my act together financially. A heads up from them would be great.

Yeah, that is part of my frustration as well. I need to take time off work so it is less about how long and more about getting solid answers.

Don't the dealerships have to send a driver? Forest river doesn't deliver the units do they?

Typically FR hires contractors to do deliveries. Last year there was a huge backlog (not enough drivers) and some units sat at the factory for up to 2 months. It is not a perfect system. Remember all of you are wanting trailers to be built in the spring, the busy season.

It does not matter who the dealership is. It all depends when the factory is running your model. They run many of the same model at the same time then move to the next model in a rotation. Doesn't make sense for them ( money $ ) to run one order at a time. More depends on when your model is in the rotation. Next wait is the shipping company.

The dealership does not send a driver. There is an independent shipping company that delivers the trailers to the dealership. That will be another possible wait.

Answers are had to get as too many variables that are out of the dealership and Forest Rivers control..... Our dealer lost contact with a trailer between the factory & Forest River for over a week. The driver from the shipping company got sick & no contact was available or made. They were ready to contact the authorities to report it stolen............
