I just got an email from the dealer saying they hope to have it arrive on Tuesday. Perhaps there really is some progress.

Nope, spoke too soon. Not happening by Tuesday. Supposedly it shipped on the 7th and the transportation company is "not too backed up" so it could be here by the end of next week. Clearly being transported with a stop off in Alaska and southern Florida before returning to the midwest.
Sigh.
Never...again....or at least until next time.

Sorry Roo, hopefully it will show soon we got ours on the 9th week to the day, picked up and home...........it was a 233S, we're just waiting for the holiday next weekend.
On a side note ours seems really nice and made nice, fingers crossed for u!!!!!

I was so close to ordering one but found McGeorge's RV had a few in stock and when they told me the options I was sold. I had to do a 625 mile round trip weekend to get it and bring my trade there but was well worth it. I hope your comes soon so you can be out there with all of us Roo folks 😎

Random update to say there is no update. I annoyed them today with a check-in and was told we cannot track it until Monday. I excitedly asked how we will suddenly know on Magic Monday when today 8 days after shipping no one in the world knows where it is? No reply, it must be another one of those magical aspects of the RV Industry that simply can't be understood by mere mortals like me.
It is getting so entertaining each time I check in I can barely stop myself from doing it.
I am pretty excited for Monday when tracking becomes available. I asked if I could get a little cost off of the PDI as we are on our 5th guaranteed date over 2 months, only to have it disappear. He said he surely would if any of this was their fault, but it has all been Forest River and they are as angry and frustrated as I am. Wow, poor fellows!
Thanks as always for the kind thoughts and forum vent!

$ off PDI is there an itemized charge for that? We didn't pay for that on ours just DMV and Tax

Yeah, kind of a long story there. They quoted me a great price to lure me from another dealer. Right before I gave my deposit they mentioned a 1200 dollar pdi.
After going around and around they cut that to 500, which put them only a few hundred higher than the other dealer. I was exhausted, I need their help constructing my equalizer, and wanted to be done. As you can see it has been nothing but good times ever since!
Honestly I just consider the total price and don't really care how they want to break it out...even if that means itemizing a pdi.
Maybe it is good delivery day will never arrive...it promises to be a mess.

PDI charges are something that dealers use to get back money after offering a low price.
Other dealers just include it in the bottom line.
My dealer, House of Camping, never charged me separately for it, yet still gave me one of the lowest prices I ever saw for a Roo.
They even assembled and set up my Equal-i-zer for free, even though I bought it from RVW.

Yeah, I know most include it...but at the end of the day you are paying a total price and I wasn't willing to take the argument further. I felt like the final price was within a few hundred of where I wanted. It wasn't worth spending another day of driving around over a couple hundred.
Had I known the adventure that would follow....maybe I would have thought differently.

Trust me...if I didn't believe it would lead to a huge battle on my deposit I would. Another dealer close by has a 21dk similar in options in stock...in fact they have several. Same price.

You should be able to get it back IMO and move on, can you call FR I don't see why not Dealer may be blowing smoke in either situation good luck
