I just purchased a brand new 2014 23ikss
I was telling a friend about it and looked up the floor plan on Google to show him
On the floor plan it shows an outside storage in the kitchen slide but my trailer does not have this, is this something that would have been added after mine was built?

They never updated the floor plans. It was eliminated several years ago.

Yea, FR has been as long as at least a year, updating their website.
Especially with the Specs.

They did fix it on FR's website. But I think my pantry and fridge are reversed vs the FR floorplan. Yes, it would be nice to have more outside storage. The cabinet has drawers where the "Outside Storage" location would have been. Makes it easier to get those pots ad pans out.

I have a 2014 and I have the outside storage door into my kitchen cabinets. My kitchen looks like this:

The space behind the cabinet door to the left of the drawers has a door leading to the outside.

The newer 2014's and 2015's don't have the drawer/door combination, but only have drawers. The island is a little different also. I have doors on all sides of my island, and the newer models only have doors on the sink side. I'm glad I got ours before these changes.

When we went to the Charlotte RV show this year I noticed some campers that had outside access to an interior cabinet. I think some of those were designed as a place to hold the trash can so you could take it out from the outside without carrying the bag thru the RV. Our 2015 IKSS does not have the exterior door.

I think it has more to do with when in the year it is made than the model year. Mine was ordered in August of 2013, came as a 2014 model, had the new model kitchen cabinets but the old model island.

Ours is a 2014 has the three pull out drawers and a interior door to the same space as the outside access. The stove has an metal cover. Later in 2014, the stove has a glass cover and there are 2 door that open with two pull out drawers inside.These drawers took the place of the outside access.

My 2015 has the large drawers instead of the outside storage

I have 5 doors in my island

We purchased our 2014 Shamrock 23ikss in February of 2014 it does not have outside storage access on the kitchen slide. We have the old-style island with 5 doors. We did not order our TT so I am not sure when it was manufactured.

Has anyone replaced the cheap plastic sink in their 23IKSS, I hat when they install these, I am looking to upgrade it to Ceramic or Stainless Steel if possible, just not sure where to get a double sink that will fit in the same amount of space

I have a late 2015 two big drawers next to oven and only 2 doors on Kitchen Slide side of my island, I guess this is the new normal now.
