Love that!!! Thanks for sharing! :-)

Considering using 1/3 of the wardrobe as a pantry and putting some shelves in (while I love the storage space the wardrobe offers, I'm not sure I see a need for a hanging wardrobe for us...).

Thanks!!!
Glad to hear you are finally getting a new TT. I plan to order my Roo23WS next week. Will pick it up in Indiana in October; can't wait. I see someone already showed you what they did to their wardrobe. (shelves) I plan to do the same thing to mine. Let me know how it goes and how you enjoy your new Roo. I can't wait to give mine a try.

I really like what you did to your wardrobe. I am ordering my Roo23WS next week and want to do the same thing. Where did you get your shelving and baskets?

We got a call from the dealer last week letting us know that, since we placed our order, they had changed the floorplan in the 23WS - and I was NOT on board w/the new floorplan (U-shaped dinette is now a regular dinette, kitchen moved over to the other side, so the sofa & dinette now on the slide, etc.). So we took another look at the other models we'd been considering (the 233s and 23IKSS), and as it turns out, while we originally disregarded the 23IKSS (I didn't like that the sofa was across from the island instead of the dinette, and that the t.v. kind of stuck out as you went in the door), they were changing that floorplan, too. So...we ended up liking the new 23IKSS floorplan even more, and changed our order. We'll have to wait longer, but hopefully it'll be worth it. Still won't have that u-shaped dinette or a separate back bunk w/changing area, but am a little pumped for the extra kitchen storage. :-)

Wow that is crazy! I thought the 23ws floorpan was really nice, I will have to see one of the new ones to make an opinion about it, shame to lose the U dinette, probably less trouble to build and maintain a slide with just a dinette and sofa, although I like them being opposite each other so you can have a conversation with people and see them while talking.

Interesting move, I would love to see a video walkthrough, can't imagine liking it more than my 2016 though

Do you have a link that shows the latest 23WS and 23IKSS changes? We seriously considered the 23WS before we bought our 2017 23IKSS.

Let me see if I can figure out how to upload attachments - I have the new floorplans in pdf. Here's a quick summary:

23WS - kitchen moved to entry side (appears to be not as deep), with ent center by door. Slide now has sofa & regular dinette.

23IKSS - dinette moved over to be across from kitchen island (I think older models had this setup?) with sofa closer to door/front bunk. Where the entertainment center is now, there will be a "coat closet" and the entertainment center is now to the left of the door when you walk in where there is currently a "pantry." Except for the coat closet/ent center change - it looks like a move back to the older plan?

Sounds like this is a fresh change - just starting to build w/the new floorplans this week. I have yet to see any info on these outside of my conversations w/the dealer based on info they got from Forest River...I would love to see pics, but may have to wait to see ours live!

Very interesting floor plan on the 23WS. We are thinking of purchasing a new 21SS because of the open space, but like the counter space of the older 23WS.
However the new floor plan on the WS looks to be more open and appears to still have more counter space than the 21SS.
Interesting.
I wish there was some pics..probably too soon.

If you like open floor plan of the 21SS take look at the 233S. Just traded in June. 233S floor plan is awesome.

231KSS Changes for 2017

[QUOTE=Maman325;1305571]Let me see if I can figure out how to upload attachments - I have the new floorplans in pdf. Here's a quick summary:

23IKSS - dinette moved over to be across from kitchen island (I think older models had this setup?) with sofa closer to door/front bunk. Where the entertainment center is now, there will be a "coat closet" and the entertainment center is now to the left of the door when you walk in where there is currently a "pantry." The entertainment center will now be where it is in my 2015 model. Different from mine is the coat closet (seems like a good idea) and mine has the old style shower (with curtain).
It did not make sense to me when they moved the sofa to opposite the island. Having the dinette opposite the island allows the island to work as a serving area for meals. Glad they went back to this.
