I am in NJ but willing to travel? If you don't trade it in what is the best way to sell one, mine is clean, everything works and it is a 2012 Shasta Revere 27RLSS

It's a little bit of a hassle, but I'd list mine myself and check with RVWholesalers on the new Roo. If your experience is anything like mine, you'll save several thousand versus local dealers. And you'll probably be able to sell yours for several thousand over what you'd get on trade. Only thing you'll lose is the tax savings from trading in.

Yeah tax savings isn't a whole lot better to be able to buy without a trade, gives me more wiggle room but what is the best method to sell a used RV?

I've always used Craigslist. Make sure it is spotless and fix anything that's broken. If you do those 2 things your camper will be more appealing than 95% of those out there. Be sure to take lots of pictures and be thorough about condition and history of the camper in the description. Nothing worse than a CL ad with 4 blurry pics and a one sentence description. Use keywords at the bottom to steer people to your ad.

I don't really know anything about RVTrader. Wasn't trying to sound as though I was talking down to you. It amazes me how many people try to sell RVs on CL that have NO CLUE how to market. Just wanting to help you out if you were one of them!!!

I have always used Craigslist to sell my vehicles and trailers.
But since you're in NJ and RVDirect is HQ'd in NY, check them out first. They have at least two sticks & bricks dealerships in NY. See what kind of tradein deal you can get from them.
They and RVW have been the biggest online RV dealers for years.
