Roo 19 AC vents

After our latest trip we found out that the AC does not have louvers. It merely has dampers that open and close. I guess what I'm getting at is that you cannot direct cool air into the bunks. The front travels along the ceiling and hits the shelf area and the rear goes straight into the bath room through the gap at the top of the door. I ended up loosing the cover and placing cardboard in to direct air into the bunks. Does anyone know if they make replacement vents ? I have searched..... This is the one we have, Coleman Mach . The one in my PUP had louvers where you could direct the air to the bunks.

My Roo 19 didn't have louvers. My Mini Lite has ducted flow, but it also has same vents you show, but not louvers, just an open/close slider. I don't think you'll find any with louvers, unless you replaced the entire AC unit.

Most folks with Roo's plug in their bunk fans and move the air around that way.

This is what I ended up doing. It was a quick fix. She doubted me , but I prevailed. Even If I have to change out the whole cover to get some kind of directional flow , I wouldn't mind .

Never seen one like that before. Interesting that it says "heat ready." It must come with the factory AC with heating strip.

This is why ducted a/c is worth the extra cost.

It comes with the controls but you will still need to install the heat strips.

Ducted AC is the reason the they did away with louvers and went to dampers. Dampers you can close and force air down the ducts to other parts.

New cover came in with ALL the mounting hardware to convert an older model

installed new cover but made a deflector to move air into front bunk

With the directional louvers pointing to the back bunk and the deflector forcing air into the front bunk , the whole camper is alot cooler all over.
