I've had no issues with towing. The truck pulls it fine. Will stay in 5th gear at 2500-3000 rpm on hill climbs no problem. The fuel economy went down a bit of course. I have kind of a heavy foot though. The Husky weight distribution hitch with sway control helps out a lot. It makes you feel more in control of the trailer.

Isn't that a 21bd. I see a front starage deck and the slide out looks different.

Just converted the outside refrigerator opening to a multipurpose area. I added a doggie door on the inside and a drop in cage front for when the dogs want to hang with us. Also a great spot for the generators during travel. I can still put the fridge in when we need it too.

Added a fold away seat / dog step. Our dogs are small and one can't make the jump. I did this a few months ago.

Added the second outlet cover to add HDMI, video and audio jacks. Makes leaving the playsrltation, bluray player, directv box inside much easier.

Added a new battery and changed to 2 6v batteries. The old tray wasn't big enough, by 1/8 of an inch. So I was forced to build a new one and rip the old one out. Each trailer is probably different here since they are all hand welded from the factory. Had to grind off the welds and reweld a new mount for the aluminum tray. All in all it'll work for us just fine. I also added a voltage monitor at the panel.

We needed it for extended stays at races where generators can't run all night so we still have all of the fun and excitement all night long.

Added a hitch receiver on the front of the trailer to attach the WDH when at the park or site. It locks. Very handy. And covered by the front bunk from rain.

You're right Sir! Thanks for the correction. I always get this confused because we initially selected the 21DK and the day we were to pickup the camper they got the 21 BD in and we liked it a lot more. Is there a way to edit? I cant find any option.

Very nice touch! Have you upgraded the speakers inside and out?

Quick question, do all the tents on all Roo models have the same size/dimensions?

No. I don't see a need as the ones outside are weather rated and the ones inside are not ideally placed for sound. So I don't see a need to change them. I have fixed them to be L & R on A as they weren't from the factory and also removed a few rattles.

Awesome mods...I need to spend more time digesting each one. You have been busy!

That dog "room" is awesome. How did you route the hdmi? Do you have it terminated at the indoor coax location?

Glad you found the floorplan you liked! We were close to getting that one as well and couldn't decide between the same two. I kind of liked the kitchen setup a little more in the dk, and the fact that it was a little shorter and lighter. I liked the extra windows and entertainment center in that bd though. Enjoy!

HDMI is routed from the radio area where out directv box is to under the floor to where the fridge is.
