ROO 233s LED lighting upgrades IN and OUT

So, this is a marine switch bank that is finally all wired up.
Kind of like this:
GENSSI 6 Switch Panel Rocker 12V Waterproof Off Road Marine Boat (Blue LED) | eBay

Each switch has little LEDs that illuminate the switches when ON...
Cute - but I disconnected all those - again - this is about saving power.

Goals here:
- minimal draw for off grid camping
- colored LEDs OUT and IN (my unit DID NOT come with LED awning lighting) - so I added
- Switch bank close to exterior so I don't need to be inside to use
- Exterior step lighting
- Operate all Parking / Running lights from inside for security/emergency lighting
- Add voltage / amp hour draw meter - but also be able to kill it when not in use
- Add USB charger - but also be able to kill it when not in use

If the switches have LED lamps in them they draw so little I'd leave them be.

Love the LEd tape you put in but DANG, that stuff is expensive.

Not here...order a few sets, as they take a while from China...

I like the mods but without a guide or tutorial I wouldn't be able to tackle it

That is a very well done install. It looks like it came from the factory as original equipment.

I imagine that running the wiring was a challenge. Or did you run it underneath?

All those cabinets and cubbies shelves have 2 layers...so I snaked all wiring through those hidden areas. Look closely at my pics,,,the one with the USB charger,,,you'll see, running up, near the window, is a black rubber strip...that's actually some black wire mold that gets me the wire from under the couch(control center) up to the cabinets. 3M VHB tape is a life saver for trim, molding, and strip lights!

Agreed, if they were even 5mA I would be very surprised.

If you have kids or grandkids those buttons would get a real workout. Had to put covers over the awning & slide switch on my 2011 233S as they kept pushing the buttons.
