Roo In For Repairs

I dropped off Rooby this morning at FR to get some much-needed repairs. The camper was in an accident (not my fault) in late Fall and ended up with a hole in the side, crushed-up steps, lost awning arms and some new racing stripes. FR is going to replace the door-side wall in addition to the other repairs and make her good-as-new I only felt confident sending the unit to the factory to let those that build 'em, work on it...not too sure of the repair quality I'd get from any dealer around me. So after trudging through some snowy, slushy roads, she's in their capable hands. Can't wait to get her back and get to camping! Hope everyone's Winter is going well!

I had the same thing happen. Accident last fall, didn't trust dealer, took it back to its maker for repairs. Couldn't be happier. They did in 2 days what the dealer said could be six weeks and for $1500 NOT the 10 grand the dealer wanted. They did an excellent job as well!! You won't be disappointed.

Glad to hear that option is possible if needed Hope it works out well for you! Not sure I would trust the dealer either for any major work.

This is good info. Never knew bringing it back to the factory was an option. Filing this in the "hope I never need it but just in case" file.
Thanks.

The Flagstaff/Rockwood plant is in Millersburg, IN. It's just a bit SE of Goshen. In the short time I was there dropping off, workers were rolling out new Flagstaffs one after the other...at least 5 or more in the 15 minutes I stuck around. Unfortunately I've been to a couple of different plants several times for Roo repairs over the years...fortunately, the crews with FR have always stuck behind their product, with me. Only made sense to let them get Rooby back to normal. CincyEd, I'm betting the rest of the camper family is enjoying some breathing room in the garage...probably stretching out their tires LOL
