Awesome. Very nice mod. I was wondering what can be done with our 21SS wardrobe that I feel also is wasted space for the type camping we will be doing!

I posted this same mod to one other forum and another poster found the same brackets I used on a website at a fraction of the cost. Gotta love these forums for just that thing. I paid $6 per bracket and can purchase from this website for only $2.50 per and shipping would be another $10. Way better deal than going thru the dealer or direct from Forest River.

Looks great! Modifying the closet in my 2009 roo 233 is on my short list of mods to do this spring. My plan was to use wire shelving but I really like what you did and the brackets look easy. What did you put of the end of the shelf boards? Is that a plastic piece or some kind of veneer?

Those are the finished edges you see. I had to cut two of the edges (they are hidden inside) to get the boards to fit. Still on my to do list is buy a cherry colored stain marker and color the cut edges. You can only see the cuts when you remove the shelves but it will be a nice finishing touch.

Looks great we did kind of the same thing but went quick and easy. We had a hanging shelf unit that just velcros around the cloths bar in the closet. Its made of cloth and hangs all the way to the floor with around 6 shelves. Its nice cause you can take the whole thing in and out in seconds and hardly any weight added to the unit. I'll try and post a picture soon.

Made my coat closet (waste of space) into a clothes closet with open metal shelving situated like yours.

Found shelving brackets for wardrobe to pantry mod!!

Love the mod of the wardrobe to pantry! It was our 2nd time out w/ 4 kids in our 233s Shamrock and there's never enough shelving space for food items and such. I used a walmart closet hanging shelf organizer and bins but it reduces the actual size of that pantry and stuff just gets tossed out of it as you are on the road. Not ideal. The shelving idea is brilliant and I found the plastic brown brackets for only $.80 a piece online this a.m. and wanted to share it with all of you! Can't wait for them to come in...they look like they are the exact ones that were ordered from Surveryor.

Very excited to do this mod!!
