Roo Outside Heng’s Exhaust Vent

Hello fellow Rockwood Rooers!

I need some help and clarification on the Hengs Outside Vent that I need to replace.

This is my second time that I ordered or thought I was ordering a new Black Exhaust Vent for my 2008 Roo 183.

1- Did they stop making this style cover or did they replace with a new
model/design?

The first one that I ordered from Amazon / 3rd party Seller I thought they sent me the wrong item, because it does not look like the image at all. The holes don’t line up.

I ordered from a different online RV Retailer and received the exact same thing.

2- Is it me that I’m ordering the wrong thing? Am I using the wrong word for the part that I need? Am I a newbie here, so if I am please forgive me! Lol.

I’ll attach what I’m looking to replace. All the pictures that I find online look EXACTLY what I’m trying to get and no luck.

Here is the Rockwood Parts Dept. number 574-642-2640. I order parts from them when I couldn't
fine the parts I was looking for on eBay. Good luck.

Rumor has it that you can't order directly from FR anymore (since around last summer/fall, I believe). You have to go through the dealers.

Are you replacing it because of the flapper being broken? I took mine apart and used a piece from a shirt hanger and used JB Weld to put a new pin for the flapper on both ends. Worked well and still working after 5 years.
