ROO Slideout not working

We have a 2014 Roo 233S -- have had it about 4 months. Took it camping this weekend and the slideout did not work... after an hour of troubleshooting - turns out it was the FUSE LOCATED UNDERNEATH THE FRONT OF THE CAMPER - 30 watt fuse

Wanted to post this in case anyone else has a similar scenario (slideout not working)... I found it unusual that the fuse was located underneath in that location - and there was no mention of this in the manuals or when we did our walk through.

Thank goodness for "Google"

Hope this info helps someone.

p.s.
I also recommend purchasing backup fuses (never thought to do so when we first purchased

Happy Camping

- Jesse

Many folks have replaced that slide fuse with an auto resetting circuit breaker, same amp rating. You will need to find one however that has the longer blades to fit correctly in the fuse holder. Ours was in a green fuse holder just underneath the left front corner ofvthe trailer along the frame.
Our original fuse blew the first time we went to use the slideout in the driveway.

Sorry about the pic, fuse is in the green fuse holder, forward of the junction box, inside frame rail, near the left front stabilizer jack.

Weird, I cannot see the first pic on my tablet....sorry for the confusion. Just wanted to let everyone know that the longer bladed breaker is needed for that green fuse holder. Older posts have mentioned that FR may have wired directly from the battery instead of the converter to save wire and that's why the fuse is separate and not thru the converter.

Try closing the mobile app and then restarting it, if that does not work then delete and reinstall the mobile app.

Thanks, I've tried that already. My app for the tablet is always stopping unexpectedly. I understand others are having the same issue...

Thanks for posting this. I too had the exact same problem this weekend. As soon as the slide was fully extended the fuse blew. I was able to get it in using the manual hand crank. I agree that this forum and google help with many of the problems/questions. I've found some of the most critical information here. Mainly about that fuse and where to manually crank the slide out. This may sound simple but as a new owner all of that was overwhelming at first.

So I replaced the fuse yesterday and the slide out works perfectly again.

Thanks!

Are you looking for the fuse or the auto resetting circuit breaker? Circuit breakers and the fuses are at any of the auto parts stores. I found ours at Auto Zone. Using the circuit breaker eliminates having to crawl under the trailer to replace the fuse. Murphy's law says using the fuse it will pop when you get to a campground and it's raining.... LOL

Bussmann (BP/UCB-30-RP) 30 Amp Type-I Universal Circuit Breaker

This is the circuit breaker some of us have been using to eliminate having to replace that fuse each time.
