Roo with bicycle rack
HI All - Just thought I'd post this up.....we're camping at Kohler-Andrae SP this week in Sheboygan, WI. We left yesterday AM to make a quick stop at the grocery store. We followed a Rockwood Roo out of the park (sadly, he was leaving and we were just beginning our trip!) and he had a bicycle rack installed in a hitch receiver on the back of his roo. The 2 or 3 bicycles he had on the rack were shaking violently, and we were only driving a max of 25 mph. Imagine what they do when you get up to highway speeds! This is just NOT a safe way to travel, and from my understanding, would void any warranty on your frame. So if you're out there somewhere....owner of a Roo who left Kohler Andrae yesterday (9/9) between 8 and 9AM, PLEASE come up with a better solution for your bicicyles. 
Oh, and by the way.....thanks for the firewood you left. We scooped it up as we were driving past on our way to the store.

If he was towing with a conversion van, then I've seem him in the same area on 43 north.
The thing with the Roo (at least the bigger ones) is that bikes fit into it fairly easily. We carry five in our 233S. A bumper rack is a nice idea and would be great, but not really needed if he's willing to pack them away.

You know, I don't recall what kind of TV he had. I was too fixated on the darn bikes!

We also fit all 5 of our bikes in the 233s as well.
