Seals under toppers

Do any of you have any suggestions on how to maintain the top seal on a slide out when they are covered by a topper? Our dinette slide is just under 12' long and I can only reach in so far. Any clever ways to get in there? I'm thinking maybe a sponge on a long stick.

Every three months or so I take a few old cotton socks and duct tape them to an extension type handle (broom handle will do) and spray some rubber cleaner on them, and clean the seals. Let them dry and with a clean sock, spray a nice ammount of 303 Protectant on the sock and swipe down the seals.
Do the same with the side and bottom seals, but at least every other month. Slip an old sock over my hand and clean and then 303 them.
