self filling water storage tank
Hello Y'all. New to the hybrid world as we spent the past 17 years in a very small 8' pop-up. Wow.... what a difference!
That being siad, We were camping this past weekend when I noticed that our water storage tank was filling up to the point of overflowing out the inlet cap, while we were hooked up to water service.
This is the fouth trip we've been on since purchasing a new 2015 Shamrock 23ss this spring. Granted, I might have been filling the tank the first three trips, but noticed or had it flowing out the cap. I guess I need to look under the unit a little more often. I have however, always made sure the water pressure was less than 45 at the spiket.
Is there a vavle that should be closed to prevent filling the tank while hooked up? Since I don't want to pull the extra weight of the water, I had to drain the tank and that seamed very wasteful and took about 30 minutes.
